Viki Réka Kiss​ is a Hungarian producer from Budapest. She has been an active in a variety of international film productions in different roles for over 10 years now. She “grew up” in the Nr. 1. Hungarian production company, Laokoon Filmgroup, where she worked exclusively for years in both documentaries and feature films - including the Academy Award winning Son of Saul (2016, Best Foreign Language Film). She has a background in the creative communication industry (used to work as a copywriter), speaks several European languages (English, Danish, Swedish, Hungarian) and is highly interested in film promotion, marketing and impact. She started working as an independent producer in 2016. Her main focus has been creative documentaries and author fiction films. She joined Julianna Ugrin on the exceptional project called A Woman Captured that premiered at IDFA and at Sundance, and was among the 5 nominees for Best European Documentary at the European Film Awards 2018.  It was sold to 120 territories of the world and shown by 74 broadcasters. She is a member of the EFA, a DOKIncubator, a Sarajevo Talents and an ExOriente Alumna and an Emerging Producer. In the recent years as a freelance producer she has been working mainly with ELF Pictures (founded by András Pires Muhi and Ágnes Horváth-Szabó) and Good Kids (founded by Patricia D'Intino) on both documentaries, fiction projects and commercials as well. Her latest film (KIX, to be directed by Bálint Révész and Dávid Mikulán) is about to be released during 2023 and is a Hungarian-French-Croatian co-production. Her projects are being supported/financed by CNC, ARTE France, HBO Max, Creative Europe, Visegrad Fund, Current Time TV and many more.
She is a certified Advanced Leadership Coach (educated at the Gestalt Coaching Center) and she offers business coaching to both individuals and groups of filmmakers. Her work is based on the theories and methods of Gestalt Psychology.
